Abstract Submission guidelines

Submissions are open to researchers, academicians, industry professionals, and students working in biosensors and related fields. The abstracts should emphasize innovation and relevance to biosensors. Abstracts must be written in English.

Abstract Title:

  • Use title case formatting for your abstract title. Capitalize the first letter of all major words. Minor words such as "the," "a," "an," "of," "in," and "for" should be in lowercase unless they start the title.

  • Avoid capitalizing the entire title. For additional guidance on title case capitalization, please visit: https://apastyle.apa.org/style-grammar-guidelines/capitalization/title-case

  • When inserting special characters, please use the appropriate HTML codes.

Abstract Body:

  • Abstracts must not exceed 150 words.

  • Clearly state the title, objectives, methods, key results, and conclusions.

Submitter, Presenter, and Co-Author Details:

  • Provide the full names of all co-authors. Use complete first and last names instead of initials wherever possible.

  • Capitalize only the first letter of the first and last names. Do not capitalize the entire name.

  • Email addresses for all co-authors are mandatory.

  • Clearly indicate each co-author’s full institutional affiliation (e.g., "University of South Carolina" instead of "USC").

    • Do not include job titles or departmental names in the affiliation.

    • Do not include full mailing addresses in the affiliation field.

Adhering to these guidelines will facilitate accurate and efficient processing of your abstract submission.
